Need help from the pros!

Posted by Nintechno - October 24th, 2007

Hey there

I am in urgent need of some advice from all of the 'veterans' out there. Anyone who has ever been on the weekly top 5 or gets 4.00-5.00 regularily for there audio submissions fits into this category.

I need people to tell me what they do to be so good. Do they use a superior program? Do they put in hours and weeks of work? How do they achieve what I can only dream of?!

Please listen to some of my work and tell me what I need to work on, I would love to know about areas in which I can improve!

Also, if any random has some advice that too is welcome but please keep it constructive as apossed to 'nah man, this is lame!'

Thanks in advance!

ummmm i don't always get my songs on the 5 weekly top but one time my song "Chinese Dance Machine" was on the front page in the top 30. It was number 22. And now its got 39,000 listens...Also most of my songs are above 4.00/5.00. So maybe i qualify i dunno.

Well you don't necessarily need to spend hours of work.

Music isn't supposed to be work. Its supposed to be fun. I found my most popular songs were songs i just sat down and enjoyed doing. Don't worry about if people are going to like it or what would everyone else think of this certain part...

Just forget all that!!!

Make what YOU like and you will make the best out of it.

As for programs no its not a huge factor. I use Fl studio and i wouldn't say its the best program but its my favourite and thats why i use it.

Remember that though...if you are making a song thats really hard work and you are trying to please other people...stop right away, start a new song, and make what you want to make.

Hope that helps =D.
